Celebrating Agnes River through short films – Terms and Conditions of entry

  • This competition is open to Australian residents. West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority (CMA) staff and their families may enter but are ineligible to win a prize.
  • All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition on entry that all rules are accepted as final, and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules.

    The decision of the judge is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

    Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance and understanding of these terms and conditions.
  • All entries must include the entrants full name, address, email, phone number and the detailed located that the photograph/video was taken and why that place is special to you.
  • All entries must be received by 11:59pm, Wednesday 23 October 2024.
  • All images and footage submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws.

    Entrants under the age of 18 must be entering with parent/guardian consent.

    Entrants must warrant that the photography/video they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.
  • All images need to be high resolution (minimum of 3MB), and should be of the Corner Inlet Catchment including the Agnes, Franklin, their tributaries or Corner Inlet.
  • On submission, the entrant gives West Gippsland CMA irrevocable licence to reproduce, publish, adapt, communicate and broadcast all or part of your entry in any form and media.

    Where possible West Gippsland CMA will acknowledge the videographer/photographer if and when the image is used.
  • Prizes of local business vouchers are up for grabs for the winning entries. Prizes are not transferable for cash.
  • How to enter:

    – send your submission via direct message on our Facebook or Instagram page and include your name, contact email address, phone number and submission title.

  • Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of prizes impossible, due to reasons beyond the control of West Gippsland CMA and accordingly the CMA may at is absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to West Gippsland CMA as a result thereof.
  • Winners will be notified by email and shared at the community event on 30 October 2024.
